Sisak-Moslavina County is one of the largest counties in the Republic of Croatia. It is situated in the central part of Croatia and represents a transport hub due to its favorable natural and geographical position. The main economic activities are industrial, with special emphasis on energy, metallurgy the chemical and textile industry, as well as the food and woodworking industry. Recently, the development and application of sophisticated technologies in the electronic industry have been present in the county, and there is also a significant development of the pharmaceutical industry.
